With the exception of the windshield, all exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Front chrome bumpers are in good condition, with good-vg rears. Reproduction knockoff wheels and spinners are good-vg, and whitewall radial tires show an average of 11/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1966 Corvette L79 Convertible shows vg-exc gauges and glovebox lid, good condition seats, center console, GM seatbelts, and steering wheel, good-vg carpet, and vg dash pods. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place. The numbers matching engine in this car shows original casting date October 13, 1965, and final assembly date October 14, 1965. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake manifold, valve covers, ignition shielding, and radiator hose clamps are all in place, and the frame is solid and rust-free. This engine was rebuilt in 2019, at which point aluminum performance cylinder heads were also installed.
